Charming Two Bedroom Apartment, Close to Universities and Freret Street Corridor

Looking for a responsible, kind, clean, and respectful female roommate to share a 2BR/1B partially furnished (couch, TV, stools, side table, extra storage rack in kitchen and extra storage cabinet in bathroom) with a female medical student. It is a... downstairs apartment available in a two-unit duplex in Uptown. It is available by individual lease. Apartment is available July 1, 2025. The total rent for the unit is $2,000 per month. Each tenant pays $1,000 rent a month and $1,000 security deposit per tenant. The landlord pays for water, trash, sewage, yard care and outdoor pest control. Tenants pay for electricity and the internet. The washer and dryer are shared with the upstairs unit. It will be a year lease with an option to renew. No pets. Upstairs tenants are law students.

The apartment has a ductless mini split A/C and heater system (a unit in each room of the apartment) that was installed in July 2022. This type of unit also assists with keeping energy costs low. Appliances include a refrigerator, stove/oven range, dishwasher, and microwave. The refrigerator is less than three years old and has a water dispenser and ice maker. The dishwasher is new (bought last August). The washer was purchased in February 2025. The entire interior of the apartment was painted in July 2022. In August 2023 the bathroom was repainted again and partially remodeled with a new vanity, mirror, towel racks, towel hooks, light fixture, and shower head.

Close to Tulane University, Rouses grocery store, medical centers, and public transportation. The Freret Street corridor is a few steps away brimming with new dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
